Mantra Two: Shroomfield | Family Time

[Raven hadn't thought much of eating mushrooms for a snack. She was out for a walk when it starts to take effect. And it all starts when she hears what sounds like chanting off in the distance.....

The gem was born of evil's fire.
The gem shall be his portal.
He comes to claim. He comes to sire.
The end of all things mortal.

And the world falls apart. 

Only it's different from last time. Some people seem to be statues like before....but there are people walking around. Some of them familiar looking.

A. Around Town: There is a girl walking around town with a hood pulled up over her head, arms drawn close against her. Like she's hiding from the world. She's also trying to get somewhere as fast as she can and isn't watching where she's going. Watch out, she might just run straight into you.

B. Library: How did she end up in here? Well she thought she saw someone she knew at ran in. Suddenly the place seems filled with chanting. Raven is clutching her arms as she leans against a table. She looks like she's in a great deal of pain.

C. Her house: She made it. 360 Topper street. She's standing on her lawn, looking around in utter shock and horror.]

No....this isn't possible. ....He can't be back....this can't be real.

Oof!

[Sara stumbles back when Raven runs straight into, but manages not to fall down. Worried, she leans in.]

Are you okay?

[Raven however stumbles but tries to hide even more in her jacket, clasping her arms even tighter against her as she get's her balance back. As though she's trying to hide something on her arms.]

No...No. This isn't real.

[And she looks up to see...]

[She glances down at Raven's arms, frowning, wondering what the other girl could possibly be trying to conceal there.]

What isn't real? What are you talking about? Are you going to be okay?

[Raven meanwhile hears only her friends accusations. And is backing away as though she's being yelled at.]

No....Starfire. I didn't! I wouldn't do that!

[Sara stares, alarmed, wondering what she should do or if there's anything she even can do. Maybe if she plays along she can soothe the girl into calming down?]

I -- I know you wouldn't! It's okay. Please, don't worry.

I told you. He wants to use me as a portal. It's the only reason I was born. To help him take over the world.

[Sara looks saddened, and then angered.]

Listen to me! That's not the only reason you were born! You can't control what other people want to do with you, and anyone who hates you for it isn't worth your time. What matters is what you do.

And if you don't want him to take over the world, I can tell you're a good person!

[Her voice suddenly loses all traces of emotion.]

I was born for the specific purpose to be his portal.

But I stopped him! I don't know how he's back, but I'm not going to help him.
