[Raven hadn't thought much of eating mushrooms for a snack. She was out for a walk when it starts to take effect. And it all starts when she hears what sounds like chanting off in the distance.....

The gem was born of evil's fire.
The gem shall be his portal.
He comes to claim. He comes to sire.
The end of all things mortal.

And the world falls apart.

Only it's different from last time. Some people seem to be statues like before....but there are people walking around. Some of them familiar looking.

A. Around Town: There is a girl walking around town with a hood pulled up over her head, arms drawn close against her. Like she's hiding from the world. She's also trying to get somewhere as fast as she can and isn't watching where she's going. Watch out, she might just run straight into you.

B. Library: How did she end up in here? Well she thought she saw someone she knew at ran in. Suddenly the place seems filled with chanting. Raven is clutching her arms as she leans against a table. She looks like she's in a great deal of pain.

C. Her house: She made it. 360 Topper street. She's standing on her lawn, looking around in utter shock and horror.]

No....this isn't possible. ....He can't be back....this can't be real.

[There's a light touch on her shoulder. He doesn't want to alarm her in anyway.]

Raven...? You aren't looking okay. Did something happen? [He's concerned. He hasn't seen Raven look this terrified in awhile...since...well a long time. At least for him.] I think we should sit down.

[She looks over and then almost flings herself away, how quickly she backs up.]

Don't touch me! Don't ever touch me!

[And yes Dick, she's staring at you with a dark murderous look, on edge, ready to attack....today is not a good day.]

How did you get here? You're supposed to be dead!

Woah! Woah...Raven? [Oh. Okay. Why is he supposed to be dead? Today sucks and nothing makes sense.]

Raven? Calm down. I'm just trying to make sure you're okay. I didn't piss you off somehow did I?

[Angry younger teammate is not good. Especially when it looks like she's ready to take him down for something he probably didn't do.]

[Nope, not good at all.]

I want an explanation father.

[Just spitting that word out.]

I killed you myself. How are you back?

[Look at your life. Look at your choices, Dick.]

[Nope, sorry Dick. For whatever reason, she's still watching you like you're going to attack her.]

[Keeps his hands up. Maybe she'll assume he won't attack her if he keeps his hands where she can see them.]

I'm not Trigon, I swear.

I can't give you answers because there are none!

[Raven inches backwards towards the sidewalk.]

None you want to give.

Raven? [Approaches cautiouslyyy.]

I'm not Trigon.

It's Dick. Robin. Whatever you want to call me. But I'm not your father.

Don't lie to me!

[Looks, like she's going to make a run for it soon.]

I know who you are.

I'm not lying. I swear I'm not.

[Uhm. How do you convince someone to believe you? I don't know.]

Raven? Come on. Let's calm down a bit.

[Stepping back onto the sidewalk now. Damn, if she only had her powers back.]

Raven. I will chase you down the sidewalk unless you listen and talk this out. [Because seriously, that's all he can do. He can do anything Trigon can do. And honestly, he wonders what that even looks like in Raven's head. Trigon running down the street.]

[She freezes. And then perfectly still.]

There's nothing to talk about.

Except there's a lot to talk about because you think I'm your dad, and I'm not.

And I'm pretty sure there has to be some way of making you believe that I'm not him.

[Sorry Dick, she's not really hearing what you're saying. I wonder what she heard when you said you were going to chase after her....]
